LDL Cholesterol, Exercise, Diet

Sharing: LDL Cholesterol and Jogging I thought jogging 2.7km can reduce my LDL Cholesterol.  After jogging almost daily for a year,  * my LDL remained unchanged, raised from 148 to 149 mg/dL * my weight increased by 0.5kg * my BMI: 23 ~~~ I thought jogging adjusting my jogging to longer distance 3.5km might reduce this LDL. However, I spoke with a colleague of his finding. He jogged for 5km and yet his LDL did not reduce. The verdict: Diet control! ~~~~ Triglyceride and alcohol/diet My Triglyceride raised from 48 to 69 to 104 mg/dL, results from year 2023 to 2024 to 2025 health screening. Although 104 mg/dL is still (below desirable range of 155 to 190). I recalled what I ate or drank: * Alcohol * Protein meats, soya bean * Buffets ~~~ My Takeaway 1. Watch my diet 2. Maintain exercise 3. Lose weight slightly 4. Less/no alcohol 5. Protein from non-meat 6. Lesser Buffets
